Where to begin… how about my wedding! a month ago I married the sweetest man. Mark and I have been together for almost three years. This man literally saved my life, he is everything to me, gave my life meaning again. Both having been married before, we both have baggage that we have managed to bring into the relationship and find somewhere to put it down, and leave in the corner most of the time.
My best friend, my soulmate and my one true love. We often wished we had met years before, and saved each other some heartache in our personal journeys, but without that experience we both wouldn’t be the people we are today, baggage and all. We have four beautiful kids to keep us company. and getting married was both magical and brought security that we both believe in. (my next post will be wedding pictures, promise xxx
what else, oh web design. So let me back track a tiny bit. almost 2 years ago, i did an online photography course with a great group of girls. this group (most of us) have managed to stay in contact ever since. This ‘Evolve’ group is the most wonderful supportive group of fellow photographers, at different stages of their business journeys. in this digital age, we all need somewhere to share our photos and gain exposures for our art and our business. So i have built a few websites and blogs over the years, because i could never settle on one that suited me, either in structure or design. (and partly because i can’t make a decision to save my life!) then i started to help a few of the Evolve girls fix their sites.. i love helping them, seeing them finally being happy, and proud of their site, then a request for a whole new sites, and a logo, and another logo, and a site design and more happy smiles and so i got to thinking… while i am no web-coding-pro i do love helping pull all these peoples site together.
So kate.simple.web.design was born. i am going to offer pre-made logos, custom logos and web help. i can’t code, but i don;t need to – there are so many beautiful templates around that what people seem to need is someone to take that template, and their business and put it all together, so that is where i want to come in. it gives me the creative outlet i need – it is a productive outlet for my hyperactive mind! so spread the word, please.
and of course this site has had a make-over too. This site and my photography will take a slightly more personal direction from now on, which i am happy about.SO please, check back soon, for some wedding pics as well as more news and stories….
